Todd currently serves full-time as administrative faculty at North Central University as the director and designer of the Student Success Center; a division that oversees Academic, Disability, Career, and Mental Health Counseling support services to the college population. In addition to this role, Todd also provides private consultation services in the Wayzata area through CrossVision, LLC in the area of clinical counseling and sports psychology.
Todd is committed to assisting individuals and organizations in harnessing their full potential by identify and removing the obstacles that prevent advancement in life. His gifting’s lie in communicating and connecting with young people in creative ways that make a lasting impression. With a background in both Social Work and Clinical Counseling specializing in children and adolescents, Todd believes in the healing power found in utilizing equine experiences as a catalyst to bring about incredible insight, change, compassion, and understanding in this great journey called “Life.” Todd’s role at Hope Rides maybe best categorized as “special ops;” that being a role of supporting and developing staff and participants to be the best leaders they can be in their respective capacities.
Originally from Australia, Todd now resides in Medina, MN with his wife, Katie, and two daughters who have both benefited as participants in the Hope Rides program. While his daughters would give anything to possess their own horses, the family has settled in to raising goats and chickens while embracing the rural lifestyle in as many ways as possible.
Sharon Pearson
Sharon has served on the board of Hope Rides since 2010. She is a nurse of 30 years with broad clinical experience in the areas of orthopedics, neuro/neurosurgery, cardiac, and intensive care nursing. Since 2011 she has been the Patient & Family Advocate for HealthEast St. John’s Hospital. In addition to caring for people medically, she assists people to overcome large and small health and interpersonal challenges. Sharon’s passion is to honor God with her life by investing in the lives of others, especially children and horses. She has been involved with Hope Rides programming since 2010 and brings a positive outlook and compassionate demeanor to every endeavor.
