The Hope Rides Horse Craze is a program designed for the horse crazy kid! This program allows youth to have a dedicated chunk of time at the ranch and nurture their love of horses and all things
ranch life related! Whatever the activity at hand we are exploring aspects of the horse and the ranch lifestyle. If your kids could talk, breath and do horse all day long – this is the place for them.
We offer the Horse Craze program for 3 separate weeks in each year. The duration of the program takes place in a 4 day time frame and from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm in the afternoon.
Horse Craze Program Format:
All things horse from head to tail. This includes a combination of academics, access to equine professionals and lots of hands one time.
Time will be spent assisting in chores, learning about barn management, animal care, grooming, ground work, riding time, horse health, vetting, farrier, horse anatomy and function, breeds, colors, markings, horse language and biblical based character building activities that explore our responsibilities of stewardship, accountability and sisterhood/brotherhood.
Participants will need to pack a lunch, snack and water bottle.
Long Pants, closed toed shoes, hat, sunscreen and any personal health related items specific to participant that may be needed. We encourage you to bring a change of clothes suitable for play and hot weather activities.
