Private Riding Lesson

IMG_4542

The horsemanship private lesson program is designed to provide instruction in fundamental independent riding skills and non-riding skills that develop and equip an individual to improve in their overall riding knowledge and comprehensive horsemanship skills.  Private lessons are 60 minutes in duration and occur ongoing throughout the year.  DSC_0031The emphasis is on learning to ride while practicing safety at all times.   The design of private lessons is to learn the fundamentals and develop the riding aspect of horsemanship.  The 60 riding lesson format includes:  Grooming, Tacking, Riding Instruction and Untacking.  These are all aspects of horsemanship and part of the riding program experience that we believe are important to be included in the lesson format.

If you would like more information on scheduling a private lesson please email info@hoperides.org

Please include Horsemanshi6EC8F9DA-0AA3-4EFD-AFBE-CA68527F81AEp Private Lesson in the subject heading of your email.

Please note we do maintain a weather riding policy to ensure safety for horses and humans.  Our indoor arena is not heated and in such during winter months if temperatures reach 15 Degrees or below riding will not be offered, however lessons will still be offered with that time shifting to activities that relate to horsemanship and skill cultivation that are not riding related.  Naturally in the summer when temps and humidity make riding conditions not possible we will follow the same protocol, simply shifting riding activities to non-riding learning activities while still offering lessons spots.
